Laude Newton College

The objective of Laude Newton College is to provide quality teaching based on respect and work as fundamental principles, thus contributing in a singular and innovative manner to the training of citizens of the world who are responsible, supportive, free and learned in a caring environment.

1.1. Personal and Physical Development

1. Stimulate in pupils the sense of ethics, intellectual curiosity, creativity, the willingness to participate, a critical sense, and truth.
2. To promote pupils in world citizenship and the capacity to live in a society, fulfilling their obligations, respecting the rules and the environment in which they find themselves, respecting the rights and customs of others.
3. To encourage in pupils the active concern for others, for their social problems, for the environment and to contribute to the improvement of the world, encouraging peace and freedom and avoiding discrimination.
4. To give pupils close attention and monitoring, always maintaining contact with their families or legal guardians.
5. To provide pupils with an education within a caring environment so that they can develop values of co-existence.
6. Instil in pupils the taste for the correct use of language, reflection and reading.
7. Promote hygiene habits, body exercise, appropriate nutrition and health.

1.2. Intellectual Development

1. Organise an education for pupils which combines the development of their capacity to make an effort, to investigate, to reason, to debate, to express, to communicate, to plan, to decide and act as well as the acquisition of content, so that they are prepared and capable to cope in today’s society.
2. To provide our pupils with a multilingual and multicultural education, which combines the teaching of English, Spanish, Valencian and German.

1.3. Social Development

1. To act as a focal point of learning in their surroundings, not limiting themselves to pupils and School staff.
2. To contribute to society via the carrying out of projects and participating in events and activities which contribute not only to the academic development of pupils, but also to their contact with the rest of the world as part of the school community.
