L.A.M.D.A. are the abbreviations of the famous London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, founded in 1861. The aims of LAMDA are fully compatible with our educational vision in the area of language and communication in English. The LAMDA programme complements the curriculum in Early Years and supports the creative, intelectual and social development of the individual as a whole. We work the programme’s contents through the activity: “Communicative skills in English”. Preparation for the official exams in Communication is offered to Reception and Year 1 pupils with the aim of improving standards in communication through the spoken word, and to foster an appreciation of literature, poetry and drama.
