How can I apply for a place at the school?

You can apply for a place by filling in an application form and handing it in to the school Office for the attention of the Head of Admissions and Public Relations. An online admission system is also available. Once the Head of Admissions has received your application, she will get in touch with you in order to arrange an appointment where you will have the opportunity to hand in the enrolment documents, pay the enrolment fee and be shown the school facilities. Those pupils who wish to access Primary, Secondary or Baccalaureate stages will be required to complete an entrance exam in both Spanish and English.

What are the fees?

The Head of Admissions will arrange a meeting with you in order to give you detailed information about the school and provide you with the current fees.

Are there other compulsory services?

Education and school lunches are the only compulsory concepts. Other services, such as school transport, morning or evening additional times or extracurricular activities are optional. Therefore, they will only be charged to those families who request them.

Why is LAUDE Newton College the best option?

LAUDE Newton College is the only private British International School in the Alicante area. We also offer a unique and consolidated educational project, together with recognised excellence in education. Indeed, year after year, we continue to achive the best results in the university entrace exams (Selectividad), the official Cambridge University exams or the Goethe Institute.

What is the difference between a bilingual school and a British school?

In Spain bilingual schools are those which have a significant number of school hours taught in English. A bilingual school must not be confused with a British school, since British schools are those which follow the British National Curriculum, offer a British qualification and where English is taught as a mother tongue by English native teachers. Tanking this into account, Laude Newton College is a British school: we do not teach English, we teach in English.
